Over the festive season, a campaign entitled “Big on Smalls” is being run in Hirsch branches throughout KZN. Basically, for every small appliances purchased from Hirsch’s an item of food or a cleaning product is donated to a charity. Said Hirsch’s Sarah Brauns “The campaign has been a great success leaving us with enough to spread across 7 charities around KZN. In Hillcrest, we teamed up with members from the BNI (Business Networking International) Assegai Chapter to give the children of Malvern Children’s home an extra special Christmas. Members of the chapter all contributed towards purchasing necessities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, facecloth and a small toy to add to the Christmas spirit. The gifts were all placed into waterproof school bags kindly sponsored by Imperial Armour. The gifts were packed individually and handed to the children who were absolutely delighted. A huge thank you to Premier Foods, OMO and Sunlight for their amazing contribution towards this excellent campaign.”
