‘Silver Ribbon’ is a bridal registry company which hosts an Open Day twice a year and has been a client of Hirschs for a very long time. It is owned by Sharon Richards-Lundt and Sharon gets all other small female owned companies involved to be part of this Open Day. It is a time in which they can display their various products and services and it is a fantastic networking opportunity for everyone. This Open-Day is open to the public and even though it is completely run by ladies, anyone can come and buy fantastic Christmas gifts and get to know these fantastic women.
This year, Sharon and Hirschs partnered up to host this special open day, On Friday and Saturday. There were over 200 ladies who attended this Open Day on Friday and Saturday and were definitely credit card happy when they saw the awesome gifts which were available. Hirschs was marketed throughout the venue, with banners at the entrance, in the main showroom, Celestine from De Longhii providing coffee and another banner where the gifts were exhibited. Sharon also chose the Girls with Dignity project as the charity of choice and as I explained to all the ladies what this initiative was about, they were so impressed and couldn’t believe that no one had thought of this previously. They gave me a number of schools who would benefit from this initiative and they all filled in opt-in forms as they would like to be kept up to date about the initiative and how they can help in any way.
It was also a fantastic opportunity to tell the ladies about Hirsch’s brilliant weekend specials and the fantastic service we offer. A number of them are already clients and regular shoppers at Hirschs and will definitely be doing some of their Christmas shopping with us.
It really was a fantastic weekend and wonderful exposure for Girls with Dignity and Hirschs
