With cold fronts hitting Cape Town on a regular basis, Hirsch’s Milnerton took it upon themselves to jump into action to help relieve the heavy burden Badisa carries. Badisa is a non profit organisation supporting over 700 families, and currently, they only have seven social workers . With a heavy case load, and budget constraints they are not always able to assist the many families in need. “We are always happy to receive food, and the warm clothes will make a difference in many family’s lives” said Lise Botha, social worker at Badisa. On Wednesday Hirsch’s PRO’s Stacey Lee van Rensburg and Nardo van Eck dropped off boxes filled with non perishable food, warm blankets and baby clothes. “We might not be able to help all the families in need, but every drop eventually helps to fill the bucket. Hirsch’s will continue to support Badisa, and would like to urge the public to contribute to their cause.” said Hirsch’s Nardo van Eck Donations can be made at the Hirsch’s Milnerton Branch.
