Quickfox Publishing (www.quickfox.co.za) is an independent publishing company which offers authors a cost-effective, one-stop service from manuscript development to printing and distribution.
Founder and CEO Vanessa Wilson has a graphic design and desktop publishing background spanning 22 years. She has freelanced for some of South Africa's largest publishing houses as a production specialist, working on most genres, including educational and academic books. Her expertise includes book production, printing, costing, marketing and distribution - including online and bookstore distribution.
Publishing consultant Georgina Hatch is a multi-award winning journalist whose career in publishing began when she was just 14. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in newspaper and radio journalism as well as magazine and book publishing. Her resume includes 5 years as Publishing Director at Struik Publishers (now Struik Random House) and a position as general manager of Independent Newspapers’ property publishing division. Georgina’s skills include editorial consulting and coaching, as well as manuscript development assistance and evaluation.
Both Vanessa and Georgina have independently published their own books.
