A Mad Hatters Tea Party in aid of underprivileged children needing stationary at local schools was held recently at Hirsch’s Centurion branch. Said Hirsch’s Linda Levendag “The ladies in the community opened their hearts and their purses and we got stationary donated for the underprivileged children at our local schools. Even though most people are already on holiday, 32 ladies attended this "jolly giving " occasion, wearing a funny hat - some home made and others very smart. Councillors Ina Strijdom and Marika Kruger Muller from the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality also attended this fun, giving-back-to the community event. Margaret Hirsch opened the meeting, and explained her 2013 Giving Girls Back their Dignity campaign. Mrs. Tshwane, Tracy Minnie started the festivities off, playing a few "games" with the ladies to get them in the mood.
“With a lot of chatting, shopping and even a few discussions about business in-between all the sweet stuff, everyone had a ball. We are an awesome bunch of networkers and what better way to end the year, making new friends and helping needy children at the same time” said Linda
