Understanding the basics of using a tablet was the topic at a recent Galaxy Tab training session at the Samsung Brand Store in Gateway.
Tablets are becoming more and more popular as the technology becomes more user friendly. Although manufacturers set out to create an interface that is simple and easy to use, the majority of the functions rely on knowing your way around the basics. To enable users to get the most out of their Samsung Galaxy Tabs, the Samsung Store in Gateway set out to go the extra mile for their customers by providing free monthly training courses for the use of the tablet.
This month’s theme was sticking to the basics. “The biggest thing to get use to with a tablet, especially to people that are first time users, is getting use to the touch screen. Unlike a conventional computer, there is no mouse to left click or right click. Instead, holding down for three seconds on the screen becomes a “right click” that will open extra options for the user to select from” said Annette Stemburg , Samsung Galaxy Tab Trainer. This is just one of the many basics there are, and over the next few months the classes will focus on educating users on related basic skill required to fully use and enjoy your tab.
