There will be loads of fun down on the farm on Saturday 8 June from 9am – 2pm at the Animal Anti-Cruelty League’s Family Day, sponsored by Hirsch’s. Entertainment on offer for the whole family, will include dog competitions, pony rides, a jumping castle and kiddies area, an animal farm, a musician and much, much more! Entry into the dog competitions is R10 a dog on the day and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed pooch, the smallest and biggest dog, the most obedient dog, the most unique dog and the best dog / owner lookalike. The League’s charity shop and plant market will be open for bargain hunters and a new tea garden will offer delicious eats. A pet photographer will be available to capture that special family photo. Please ensure dogs are on a lead. One lucky visitor who buys a raffle ticket will win a helicopter flip on the day over the Valley of a Thousand Hills, kindly sponsored by helicopter pilot Louis Kruger of 3 Dimension Helicopters.
