Hirsch's Centurion in conjunction with Carina Nel's Fashion and Style Club hosted a Business Women Association of South Africa (BWASA) Event recently and the evening was filled with beautiful ladies, dressed in the theme, ‘My Fair Lady," and, according to Hirsch’s Linda Levendag, they all looked very fair indeed! “ A number of ladies exhibited their products, which ranged from delicious home-made nougat, jewellery, wine, delicious pastry tastings and so much more” said Linda, who had put together the evening with Carina Nel, fashion stylist and consultant. Models from Figures Modelling showed off Carina’s new ranges of clothing, namely “Just be”, “Fifty shades of Gray” and “Opulence”.
Business Woman of the Year (Entrepreneur) Margaret Hirsch was the guest speaker at the event and her talk included how Hirsch’s had come into existence. She told the ladies about her childhood life, how she had started working at a hair salon, washing hair every Saturday. She encouraged the ladies and young girls, that it doesn’t matter where or what your past is, you can determine your future. She emphasised the keys to success "You need to have passion, work hard every day, not just now and then, but every day and you need to focus on what you are doing". She explained that you can only succeed in what you are doing by focussing on what you are doing, and she stressed the importance of having a vision board to look at every day
The evening did not end there, the ladies were all surprised when dancers from Le Volta Dance Studio – Award winning dancers David Lombard and Megan Walkin came on stage and did a passionate ballroom routine. To round off the evening, many appliance prizes were up for grabs during the business card draw and many of the ladies exhibiting their products donated prizes for the give-away. An evening of motivation, fun and a night to remember by all who attended this fabulous event!
