Yesterday, myself, Willie and Gerhard from Whirlpool made our way to the Good Housekeeping Magazine Christmas Function at 54 on Bath in Rosebank. This was a very exciting event as it was attended by some top corporate companies where over 80 guests were present. This event was in aid of raising funds for TLC Foundation who focuses on restoring family relationships and have various programmes for poverty-stricken children and families. There was a special raffle where all donations went to the foundation. Hirschs sponsored gift vouchers which were well received by the participants.
There were a number of sponsors taking part at the activation before and after the lunch, where Hirsch’s made their presence known. We demonstrated and made delicious treats with the Philips AirFryer. We also had Gerhard who made an assortment of tasty snacks with the Whirlpool Jetchef. We also added some colour with various products from Cuisipro – ranging from the new coloured and animated spatchelers, ice-cream makers, trays and colourful bowls and spoons.
It is amazing how all these products drew attention, especially the Airfryer. This product has been on the market for quite some time and is still a winner at these event days. We had a number of ladies hinting to their husbands that they wanted this for their Christmas present. This was a fantastic opportunity to tell them about our BIG BIG SALE, as well as handing everyone Hirschs Summer Catalogues to show off our fantastic range of products at unbelievable prices.
We received fantastic exposure from attending this event and Hirsch’s will receive coverage in the next issue of Good Housekeeping.
A very successful day!
