Scenic snapshots
Compelling nature photography was the topic at a recent photography talk, held at Hirsch's Umhlanga.
"Capturing the beauty and essence of nature is a true art in its own form and is my biggest passion", said Tracey Du Plooy, guest speaker and professional photographer. "Photographing nature is fascinating, requiring specialized skills and equipment. Having the best possible photographic gear for the task does not ensure success either. It's about the deep love and appreciation for the subject that really matters". Tracey explained.
The workshop was attended by over 40 people from the Umhlanga area, all interested in improving their photography skills. "I have learnt so much from Tracey tonight, thank you Hirsch's for hosting such a great event" said Laura Griffin, novice photographer from Umhlanga.
Hirsch's Umhlanga hosts a free photography get together once a month, with new topics and guest speakers every time. For more information, kindly contact Warren on 031 570 4000 / warren@hirschs.co.za
