Isadore Brown, who is originally from Geneva, but moved to South Africa to pursue his passion as a chef was on hand at Hirsch’s Hillcrest recently to give invited guests a class in Sushi making. “With Sushi being such a social meal and one that can be enjoyed by a group of people who want to have fun and interact , I decided to invite Isadore from Sushi Simply to come along to Hirsch’s to give lessons.” explained Hirsch’s Hillcrest PRO, Sarah Brauns. “He has a huge passion for the food industry, is very creative in his work and has been working very closely with Hirsch’s, using the venue to promote his product as well as our own. Isadore encouraged the guests to participate in making different kinds of Sushi, this was very entertaining as he gave a quick demo of his own giving everyone a basic idea of how it should be done. He made it look so easy. With plenty of laughter and camaraderie we all achieved what looked (vaguely) like sushi!” Said Sarah.
