1. “Lift UP†Service:
With Search Engine Based Systems the last person to register will be the first candidate that will be displayed when a recruiter does a Job Title search.
2. Notifications:
This is a standard function available on most Online Job Portals however the unique emphasis to MGJOBS.co.za is that not only do you receive email notifications of posts that match your criteria to apply to you can access the following valuable information in your profile:
- Who has looked at your CV / Profile?
- Who has Saved your profile for a particular post whether you have applied for it or not
- You have an indicator same as your Outlook to confirm messages in your inbox.
- You can track all communications and correspondence through the internal mailbox at anytime.
3. Job Searches
There are 2 ways to use the system to your advantage and depends on your preferences in saving time when searching for jobs:
1. Manual Search: in this process you have the ability to add as much details to your search criteria to allow you to find the most appropriate jobs in relation to your skills.
- You can use Keywords which can be a Job Title e.g. Sales Manage
- Search by Industry and location which can easily be selected from the drop down lists provided
- You can choose to search by the preference of work be it permanent, contact or temporary
2. Automatic Search Save: this feature allows you to enter categories of the job specs which you are looking for and will save you time from manually searching every time you log into your profile. The information you enter is saved and our system will immediately notify of advertised Jobs relating to your specified Job Specifications which you saved. This saves you time as our system does the searching of our preferential adverts immediately to which you will receive email notifications thereof.
4. Preferences to remain “Anonymousâ€
Candidates have the option of remaining “Anonymous†where there contact details are not displayed to advertisers and will still have access to all functions including applying for posts which suit their Skills.
5. Profile Exposure:
In addition to the “Lift UP†service mentioned above candidates receive added exposure on the homepage of an Employer / recruiters Homepage of their job listing providing them with your profile immediately matching their skills require and works in the same fashion as you are matched to jobs in your preferred Industry, Location and skills which you specify in the Automated Job Search as described in point (3) mentioned above
6. Job Applications:
You can apply for job positions by clicking on the Apply button to which the Advertiser of the post will immediately receive a notification in our internal message system and via there external email address that is listed on the system. The advertiser can view your entire profile and has access to your CV immediately.
7. Access to company Profile and Information:
This is a feature which is free for the benefit of Recruiters and Employers to which they have to pay additionally on other websites. This was added as a standard feature not only to promote the Advertiser but more so to provide you the jobseeker with adequate information and research on a particular Employer or Recruitment Agency and will allow you to make an informed decision on its credibility without having to access the internet to find this information. With this feature being offered â€Free†as a standard feature will allow you to have details on all advertisers as they need not pay for the service.
