TOPIC: To Pin or not to Pin? How small businesses can use Pinterest to generate leads and sales.
Over the last year or so Pinterest has grown by astonishing figures and wiggled its way into the top 5 social networks. With launching business pages in November 2012 and Analytics in March 2013 businesses can no longer ignore the power of this new platform.
But instead of sighing “not another network to manage” come and hear how Bettina will demystify this new social network and help you answer the question “But is it worth it?”.
There are specific industries for which Pinterest is ideal out of the box, but even those on the complete opposite side of the equation can reap the benefits, you just need to know how. Bettina will give a brief overview of what Pinterest is and then dive straight into the question of how a business can make best use of it to achieve the ultimate goal, gain new leads and sales.
Topics discussed:
• What is Pinterest
• Do’s and don’ts of Pinterest
• How to gain followers and pins
• How to use it strategically as a marketing tool
• The secret of successful B2B companies on Pinterest many overlook (also valuable for B2C!)
• Ideas for interesting and heavily re-pinned boards
• Example of companies taking advantage of Pinterest
*B2B = business to business, B2C = business to consumer
